Welcome everyone! My name is Andrea Beecham and I am the librarian at Bess and Harry S. Truman Schools.  I have lived in Webb City all my life and I am a graduate of Webb City High School. I have a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Missouri Southern. I taught Kindergarten at Carterville Elementary for 7 years. In 2004, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology with an emphasis in Library Media from Pittsburg State. In 2010 I became the Librarian at Bess and Harry and have loved every minute of it. Outside of school, I am married to Josh. We have one son, Brett, and a daughter, Harper

I love sharing my love of reading with students. We get to learn about parts of a book, different authors, and even get to work out brains with some STEM activities. We make reading fun and work hard to help every child find the right fit book.
